Accepting VISA & MASTERCARD for Online Ticket

The airline has recently introduced online booking system for its passengers. Customers can now buy BIMAN tickets through Internet using VISA and MASTERCARD.

With the implementation of this new feature, the airline has been able to take its product to the desktop and laptop of the customers. The up- gradation will also provide passengers with the options for choice of menu , preference of seat and much more. Passengers holding online tickets will have separate checked-in Counter at the airport.

Internet Booking Engine (IBE) is an application which helps the travel and tourism industry in supporting and managing the reservation system through the internet. It also helps customers in book flights, hotels, holiday packages, insurance and other services online. This application has become one of the fastest growing sales channels in Aviation Industry.

With the introduction of Internet Booking Engine, the airline has been able to make direct exposure to customers. Moreover, online booking will help Biman cut expenses while, at the same time, allowing instant collection of sales.

Biman introduced Computerized Reservation System in 1989 and E-Ticketing in 2007. The IBE was introduced in November, 2010 though it took another nine months to introduce online payment in the system.
