Welcome to Biman’s new website. This site is designed to provide as much assistance to our on-line visitors as possible. We understand that customer needs and expectations are ever rising and we continue to achieve perfection through upgradation of our aircraft, service, network, ticketing, cabin interior and in-flight entertainment. This newer website allows you to plan and manage your travel more conveniently with the options of buying ticket on-line and request for added services.

To make room for an increase in passengers and as a part of our commitment to providing our customers with highest standards of comfort and reliability, Biman placed orders worth a total of US$ 2.4 billion for 10 aircraft from Boeing : four 777-300ER, four 787-8 Dream Liner, and two 737 – 800 NG for delivery between 2011 to 2021.

2011 is shaping up to be another milestone year for Biman, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh. We will begin the New Year by re-launching New York service this spring. The “Big Apple” will be a highly desirable destination from Dhaka, specially for Non-resident Bangladeshi travellers are excited about flying directly to and from the USA.

Along with our online ticketing, we’re also offering our rewards programme widely known as Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP). It is refreshingly simple, making it easy to earn and redeem complimentary travel. I urge you to keep an eye for updates.

2011 has been declared as the “Year of Tourism” in Bangladesh.
