Restriction on entry for MUSCAT : Passenger after 180 days outside OMAN

Passenger Travelling To
Oman
GCC Citizens, residents
with valid residency permits and passengers with valid visa are allowed to
enter in Oman, without any prior approval effective form 10 December 2020: (CAA circular on 10-Dec-20 and Oman Airports
Travel Guidelines on 27-Dec-20).
Ø Expired
Visa/180 days Overstay: Employment VISA holder who’s VISA expired and
renewed or overstayed above 180 days out of
Oman, are not allowed to enter Oman even if they are holding E-Visa as per
latest instructions of Royal Oman Police. Exceptions, holder of family
joining and Investor Visa or NOC from DG of Passport and Residence of Oman. (Attached: Sample

Ø Mandatory RT-PCR test for COVID-19: Passenger
should carry 6 copies PCR negative certificate from any Govt.
Approved Laboratory with validity of 72 hours from the sample
collection to Departure time. (Children aged below 10 years are exempted
from COVID-19 PCR test)
Ø Quarantine period: to be (7) days from the
date of arrival in Oman if the passenger has negative results of a COVID-19 PCR
test conducted on arrival and another COVID-19 PCR test conducted on
the 8th day. If the passenger does not wish to undertake a COVID-19 PCR
test on the 8th day, the quarantine will continue for (14) days from the date of arrival.

Passengers
have to present document in support
of Quarantine facilities. It may be a house rental agreement or Undertaking by
Sponsor/Employer mentioning the quarantine responsibility.
Ø International Health Insurance: Non-Omani
citizens or Residence Visa holders travelling to Oman are required to have an ‘International Health Insurance’ covering
the cost of treatment for Covid-19 for a period of one month (30 days) at
least.
Ø On Arrival COVID-19
PCR test: All the passengers coming to Oman are subject to COVID-19 PCR
test on Arrival. Each
passenger must register online before boarding and carry a smartphone with
active mobile SIM of Oman. Advance payment of OMR 25 (Twenty Five) for PCR test is preferable and strongly

Children aged 15 years & below, Diplomats working at foreigner embassies
accredited to Oman and diplomats
visiting Oman are exempted
from COVID-19 PCR test &
from the tracking wristband.
Passenger Travelling To Bangladesh
Departing
Passenger Ex-Muscat: To travel
from Muscat to Bangladesh passengers must follow below procedures:-
Ø Mandatory RT-PCR test for COVID-19: Passenger
should carry PCR negative certificate
from any Govt. Approved Laboratory with validity of 72 hours from the sample
collection to Departure time. (Children aged below 10 years are exempted
from COVID-19 PCR test)

Mandatory Hand
Gloves & Musk: All passengers must
wear Face Musk, Hand Gloves during the whole journey from the time of arrival
at Muscat airport till final destination.

v Legal action will be taken against
offending airlines as per directives of CAA of OMAN
and Bangladesh.
